What is the tribe?


In the beginning, the tribe was just two dudes looking to create and have fun.


After learning the ropes of publishing, branding, design and a growing interest in photography, Andrew approached Rob and brought forth his idea of turning their creations, experience and knowledge over to fellow creatives and small businesses to help them grow and maximize their focus.


Before long their partnership was dubbed tribe74, and they officially formed the digital media team that has been working diligently to support their network of clients.


Where did the tribe begin?


40 years ago, Andrew and Rob grew up in the same neighbourhood block, and went to the same schools in Guelph, Ontario, Canada for a couple of years. After a few moves and life changes, thanks to social media they were able to link up again 20 years later. Andrew had some great ideas for children’s books, inspired by his son Tavin. Proposing the book idea to Rob, who partnered and worked in a film/art collective studio, they decided to start a partnership grown from friendship. After publishing their first book (There Is A Boy On Top of My Bed), they went on to do a number of projects together, including 2 other children’s books, an as-of-yet unfinished comic book. tribe74 is their latest and greatest endeavour!
